Heater controller HRK1 HAVACO
HRK 1 HAVACO, is a microprocessor PID type controller, designed to work only with electric heaters with 1~230V and 2~400V (2-phase) power supply. Do not use the HRK controller to control the operation of electric motors, lighting and heaters with 3~400V (3-phase) power supply. The time between switching the heater on and off is automatically adjusted by the controller to ensure that the set temperature is maintained. HRK 1 automatically detects the connected sensors and selects the appropriate operating mode.
The most important product features
Equipped with automatic detection of supply voltage.
It has a night operation mode, allowing to lower the set temperature by 0...10°C. This function requires connection of an external timer.
It has an angle detector between phase and zero to protect against RFI interference.
It has a built-in temperature sensor, but can also work with external sensors. The value of the air temperature can be limited to the minimum and maximum - this requires connection of 2 external sensors according to the diagram.

Remove the front panel of the regulator. It is fixed with snaps (holes on the side of the housing). The HRK 1 regulator should be mounted in a horizontal position. In case of cooperation only with the built-in temperature sensor, the regulator should be fixed about 1.5m above the floor level, in a place that allows to measure the representative temperature. Ensure free air flow through the device, unobstructed by furniture, etc. In case of cooperation with external temperature sensors, the controller can be mounted anywhere.
Electrical connection
Power supply 230-415V 50-60Hz with automatic detection of supply voltage. Insensitive to polarity with 400V power supply. Electrical connection must be made by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable national and international regulations.
NOTE: The HRK 1 regulator must be connected to the power source through an isolation switch, with a contact opening width of at least 3mm. The circuit breaker and cross-section of the wires should be selected according to the load. The switch should be mounted close to the device. Before removing the housing, disconnect the device from the power source.
