HRK3 HAVACO heater power controller
HRK3 HAVACO is a microprocessor-based electric heater power controller. Do not use the HRK3 regulator to regulate the operation of electric motors and lighting.
The most important product features
Allows you to regulate a heater with a power of up to 15kW.
It automatically adapts the regulation mode to the dynamics of the regulated object. For fast temperature changes, e.g. supply air temperature control, it will work as a PI (proportional-integral) regulator, while for slow temperature changes, e.g. room temperature control - as a P (proportional) regulator.
It has a relay output with a contactor, allowing the connection of a 12 kW load. The total allowable load of the controller is 27 kW.
It has a night operation mode, allowing to lower the set temperature by 0..10°C. This function requires connection of an external timer.

The HRK 3 controller is mounted on the wall in a horizontal position. Degree of protection IP20. Before removing the front cover, remove the temperature setting knob.
Electrical connection
Power supply is applied to the terminals L1in, L2in, L3in. Supply voltage 380-415V, 50-60Hz/ Maximum current 25A/phase. HRK 3 can regulate both heaters with symmetrical connection in Y and heaters connected symmetrically or asymmetrically. The electrical connection must be made by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable national and international regulations.
NOTE: The HRK 3 controller must be connected to the power source through an isolation switch, with a contact opening width of at least 3mm. The circuit breaker and the cross-section of the wires should be selected according to the load. The switch should be mounted close to the device.
